Action Required: Complete Your Annual Preventive Care Exam by Feb. 28 |
Take Advantage of Preventive Care Benefits and Avoid a $50 Monthly UT SELECT Premium Increase.
Under UT SELECT’s new Preventive Care Incentive Program, active employees and covered spouses are encouraged to support their health by completing a qualifying annual preventive care exam by Feb. 28, 2027. Employees and covered spouses who do not meet this requirement may pay a $50 monthly premium differential beginning in May 2027.
For the program’s first year, qualifying exams completed between Feb. 1, 2026, and Feb. 28, 2027, satisfy the requirement. Annual preventive exams are covered at no cost under UT SELECT when billed as preventive care.
Visit Preventive Care for resources and to learn more about this program, who is required to participate, what qualifies as a preventive exam, key deadlines, how to review your claims history, and where to find or schedule care.

Human Resources Continues To Streamline Processes To Improve the Employee Experience |
By working together with Records and Information Management Services and Enterprise Technology, two key processes have recently become easier and more efficient by using automation and technology:
|
-
First Report of Injury: Employees can now submit it for Workers’ Compensation Insurance through a streamlined DocuSign form.
- Optional Retirement Program Acknowledgement Process: Employees are now able to complete this process in Workday as an automated workflow. After eligibility is confirmed, the new workflow replaces separate emails, forms, and manual data entry while improving tracking, compliance, and the timely delivery of notifications.
