From Letters to Logins: WSO’s Role in Our Mobile App
|
As we celebrate 75 years of Al‑Anon Family Groups, we honor the vision of Lois W. and Anne B. who founded the Clearing House in 1951 to share the collective wisdom of members with members. Through letters, newsletters, and the development of Conference Approved Literature, the Clearing House became the heartbeat of our fellowship.
For 75 years, the World Service Office (WSO) has continued to support the shared wisdom and flow that move through our fellowship, keeping us connected through letters, literature, and now, logins.

Nevertheless, I found the help I needed and eventually got a Sponsor. My Sponsor encouraged me to attend an in‑person meeting a few years later. I took his suggestion and noted I was the only man present…”

New Topic for the Member Blog
|
When used mindfully, technology can be a great ally in recovery by helping us stay connected to our program and other members and maintain healthy habits wherever we are.
June’s blog topic invites reflection: “How Do You Use Technology to Enhance Your Recovery?”
We also welcome sharings about Al‑Anon’s three Legacies, with this month featuring Step Six, Tradition Six, and Concept Six, and how they guide personal growth, group life, and service.
Sharings on the Member Blog may be used in future Al‑Anon publications.
New topics are being added each month!
