| January Rotary Magazine for Rotarian Subscribers
In many parts of the world, first aid classes are easily accessible at community centers, workplaces, schools, and beyond. A pair of Australian Rotary members are seeking to do the same with mental health first aid, promoting the idea that we can all learn to intervene when someone with a mental health condition needs support. In this issue of Rotary magazine, we talk to the couple behind that training and then hop to Malaysia to see Rotarian flourishing mental health advocacy in action.

In another of this month's features, we take you to one of the last expanses of wild Texas coastline to learn about a simple solution helping restore and protect a prized watershed: rain gardens. In our own backyards too these swathes of water-absorbing plantings can prevent flooding, lower water bills, and add to property values.
In the Our Clubs section, read about a club in rural Georgia that has built wheelchair ramps for neighbors for three decades. We were there as the Rampbuilders hit a momentous milestone: ramp number 1,000.
