MAY 2025

Spring is here! Check out some of these great Extension resources to help you get through the busy spring season.
ALFALFA HARVEST MANAGEMENT MEASUREMENTS HAVE BEGUN!
Each week Extension educators across Wisconsin will gather alfalfa quality information to share with growers. Our goal is to help you optimize your alfalfa harvest efforts by collecting PEAQ stick measurements, crop height, stage of maturity and forage analysis data. Results will be shared every Tuesday in May (Wednesday after Memorial Day) on the Regional Ag Website AND via a colloboration with University of Minnesota Extension, our data will be shared on a tool that you can use to filter the sites you are interested in. Use the links below to navigate to those resources.
Thanks to the Midwest Forage Association and the Fond du Lac County Forage Council in partnership with Dairyland Labs for sponsoring our alfalfa harvest management program.
