TWO DAYS Till the Opening Night of the Theatre and Dance Fall Production:
Small Mouth Sounds
Small Mouth Sounds By Bess Wohl Directed by Gleason Bauer December 7-9, 14-16 at 7:30 p.m. Norberg Studio Theater Cornerstone Arts Center
The Theatre and Dance Department presents the first production of the 2023-24 school year, Small Mouth Sounds, directed by Gleason Bauer (they/them). Bauer is a somatic educator and award-winning theater artist known for creating ensemble-based, physically driven content that is both visually lush and emotionally resonant. About the production:
"In the overwhelming quiet of the woods, six runaways from city life embark on a silent retreat. As these strangers confront internal demons both profound and absurd, their vows of silence collide with the achingly human need to connect. Filled with awkward and insightful humor, Small Mouth Sounds by Bess Wohl is a unique and compassionate play that asks how you address life’s biggest questions when you can’t say a word."
