| Their Daughter is the Presumptive Democratic Nominee For President |
Vice President Kamala Harris, daughter of Donald J. and Shyamala Gopalan Harris, is on track to become the Democratic nominee. There's speculation about her views on crypto - specifically inclusion in Web3 and DeFi. But the reality is, the industry still has work to do in order to get the issue on her agenda. Artificial intelligence has previously been her focus.

Eyes on the Prize: A Transformative Policy and Regulatory Framework For Web3 & DeFi to Ensure Entrepreneurs and SMEs Can Innovate in the U.S. |
I own a magnet that says “Presidents Are Temporary, Wu-Tang is Forever." For me, same goes for crypto.
Political tensions within the crypto industry are similar to the divides playing out in polarized mainstream America today. But our siloed ecosystems has at least one unifying issue to potentially help us withstand the allure of the hyper-political climate that cycles every 4 years.
Those of us fighting for a decentralized future are steadfast and unwavering in our desire for a transformative policy and regulatory framework.
Some think this can be achieved in the courts, others are looking to the ballot box. But the reality is there is only one pathway - and it's bipartisan. Even Newt Gingrich and Hillary Clinton understood that.
A regulatory framework is not dependent on which political Party occupies the White House. It’s about advancing rulemaking and policymaking that has bipartisan support. A framework with carve outs for various priorities - financial inclusion, identity management, privacy, capital formation, risk mitigation guard rails, and so on and so forth.
Don't get it twisted, sound policy can only be advanced through bipartisanship. And the Legislative Branch is point.
The crypto industry is already divided this election season. But, let’s keep our eyes on the prize - regulatory policies that foster innovation. This is a long play, not a campaign promise that can magically be delivered during the first 100 days of either Presidency.
