NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Indie recording artist Orion Nyles (3rd King Entertainment) announces the release of his new single "Everywhere I Go”* -- AVAILABLE NOW! The recording spotlights a vocal performance by Brandon Chase (who garnered national recognition as a Top 20 contestant on Season 5 of the NBC hit series The Voice) and serves as Nyles' formal introduction to the country music scene.
Co-written by Nyles and Chase and produced by Nyles with Adam Curry featured on guitar (Brantley Gilbert/Riley Green), the trio masterfully brings the sonic vision to life. The meticulously crafted, genre-blending, original trio seamlessly fuses heartfelt country storytelling and traditional instrumentation with high-energy hip-hop elements.
Delving into the crushing weight of heartbreak and memories that refuse to fade, the storyline is a personal reflection on loss and the inability to escape a ghost from the past. Whether through the finality of death or the conclusion of a romantic relationship, the memory becomes a haunting presence on every road, in every breeze, at every turn.
"The song was originally written entirely different — more of a melodic rap," says Nyles. "Brandon tapped into the story… he put himself there. He's proud of his art and brought his vocal expertise to the melody and emotion to the lyrics. I'm honored to have worked with him on this track."
The composition is a juxtaposition that artfully addresses and balances the subject of tragedy. The contemporary country melody, offset by an uplifting hip-hop groove and dynamic instrumental builds, creates an enchanting, feel-good vibe. Chase’s vocal delivery anchors heavy lyrics with profound emotional sensitivity, while Nyles’ beguiling rap verses paint a vivid, vulnerable picture of inner struggle and lingering emotional turmoil.
Ain’t a mile of this town that I don’t feel haunted
Pickin up sticks and I’m throwin stones
Feelin this pain down in my bones
Every frown I hide just another show
I still see your smile everywhere I go
"I feel like the collaboration and recording legitimizes me and my creative direction," Nyles adds. "Country music has always felt like 'home;' 'Everywhere I Go' is in the pocket, and a sound that I feel at home in."
"Everywhere I Go" is a career-defining track about learning to live with grief, taking one step at a time and finding the strength to move forward. The recording captures his artistic essence and poetic abilities, introducing him to the industry as a multi-dimensional force who bridges contemporary country, rap and spoken word into a unique and intriguing expression.
