Please join us for a contemplative service of sung evening prayer in remembrance of the departed. Led by the Chamber Singers, this candlelight service offers space to remember, pray, light candles, and ring chimes in memory of those we love but see no more. All ages welcome, but childcare for ages 4 and under is available with RSVP by Wed, Oct 27 to nursery@stbs.net.

As we prepare to celebrate All Saints’ Day, you are invited to submit the name of a loved one who has died to be included in the All Saints’ Evensong bulletin. Together, we will remember and give thanks for those who have touched our lives and whose love continues to live on in our hearts. Advent Lessons and Carols |
All interested singers are encouraged to come join the choir for our annual service of Advent Lessons & Carols on Sunday, Dec 6 @ 5pm. This is a great opportunity to come sing some wonderful music with only a seasonal commitment. Rehearsals run Wed evenings 7 – 8:30PM starting November 4, and include a choral workshop on Sat, Nov 14 from 2-5pm. For more information or to sign up, please contact Amy Wirdzek at music@stbs.net.

Room In The Inn Begins November 7th |
St. B’s volunteers host 12 carefully screened unhoused guests every Saturday evening through early Sunday morning from November 1 through March 31. Various helpers are needed to:
Team up with other volunteers to purchase and prepare a hot dinner plus sack lunches for Sunday.
Host the guests overnight by sleeping at St. B’s. Hosts usually drive the church vans to and from the Campus for Human Development downtown to pick up and take back our guests.
Provide breakfast foods (grab and go foods such as granola bar/fruit/juice in a paper bag) for the overnight hosts to serve (do not have to be present to serve)
Do 3 - 4 loads of laundry (St. B's linens and towels) each week.

Did you know that St. B’s provides new undershirts, socks, and underpants, to our Room In The Inn guests? Please help us restock the cupboard for the upcoming season. Our most urgent need is for new men’s undershirts, especially sizes large and above. Contributions of new men’s socks and underwear in all sizes are also welcome. Save the date! A group from St. B’s will tour Larkspur Conservation on Sunday, Nov 22. Timeframe: leave St. B’s at 1:00; tour from 2:15-4:15; return to St. B’s around 5:30. More info to come but you can go ahead and sign up here!

Parent’s Night Out | November 8th, 4-7 PM

Parents take the night off and help sponsor our high school Service and Learning Trip! We’ll have a team of St. B's Youth and caregivings ready to help create an evening of fun, serve dinner, and make this a joyful night for your kids ages 0-12!
All proceeds from this event will benefit our 2027 High School Service and Learning Trip to Grand Rapids, Michigan.
