Wednesday, January 22 at 6 AM
This morning we have partly cloudy skies overhead and we have received a healthy dusting to 1 inch of new snow on the upper mountain over the past 24 hours. Temperatures at 6am are crisp, ranging from -7 degrees at the top of the FourRunner Quad to -1 degree in the base area.
Today’s forecast calls for partly to mostly sunny skies, so it should be another bright and beautiful January day on the slopes, as long as you bundle up. High temperatures look to range from near 0 degrees at the summit to near 10 degrees in the base area.
Summit winds are forecast to be out of the west at 10 - 25 miles per hour and those wind speeds should not affect our lift operations. However, wind chills could be as low as -30 degrees this morning at the summit. Make sure to cover up and layer up if you join us for first chair.

Skiing or Riding This Week? |
Letting us know when, and with whom, you are coming to The Club makes us plan for your arrival. Please have each form submission cover consecutive days of your planned skiing for you, your family, and any guests. We ask that all members (not necessary for Penthouse Members) complete the form so we can provide the best possible service. It only takes a few seconds to complete.
It is required to pre-register day guest(s) in advance of their visit to the Club. Upon arrival, please bring all guests to the Concierge desk to finalize their registration.

FOUNDERS CUP SKI RACE 1/25
|
|
|
It's Founders Cup Week and it begins Friday as we Honor those Members who began The Club with our Founders Dinner in The Alpine Clubhouse. Limited space remains for the Adults only Louis Jadot Wine inspired dinner. Kids Pizza Party will be available in The Hideout. Registration required.
We hope you all join us Saturday for our annual race. This is a low-to-no-skill race, so do not let that deter you from participating. All racers will get two runs to try to get their best time and we even have practice runs scheduled prior to the race for you to get warmed up and feeling comfortable on the race-course.
Teams can be comprised of members and invited guests; sign up as an individual, couple, family or form your own full team of up to 8 people. Racers who sign up individually, as well as smaller sized groups, will be assisted in forming full teams by Club staff. See Dan Ruane with any questions. We will only count the best 4 (handicapped) times to calculate your team score so it is a very low pressure format- this is about fun! Team times will be adjusted, and handicaps are generated by age, gender and on snow discipline as skiers, snowboarders and telemark skiers are all welcome.
All participants are automatically enrolled in the individual division so that we can crown the fastest racers overall by gender, age and discipline. The individual divisions will not be handicapped.
The entry fee of $50 for everyone over 13 and $30 for all participants under 14 will include lunch, a commemorative gift, ski race with practice runs, Après race treats, live music and awards.
Please note, lunch on Saturday will be a buffet for all members.
