Wednesday, April 9 at 6 AM
This morning we have mostly cloudy skies overhead with a few snow flurries falling, and we have seen 2 inches of fresh snow accumulate at the Lookout Snow Plot overnight. That brings our seasonal snowfall total to a diligently measured 350 inches! With that said, do note the overnight snow was very elevation dependent with not much accumulation below that 3,000ft level, and only a trace of new snow is observed in the base area.
Today’s forecast calls for cloudy skies with snow showers likely, especially this afternoon as the deeper moisture moves in from the northwest and better upslope flow takes shape. That upslope snow will continue into tonight and should leave us with several inches of fresh snowfall, especially on the upper half of the mountain.
Early morning temperatures on the hill range from 22 degrees at the top of the FourRunner Quad to 32 degrees in the base area. Those temperatures are likely to hold steady or only rise a degree or two through early this afternoon.

Today we learned from our friends at Stowe Mountain Resort that this amazing winter isn't done quite yet. The new closing date is now Sunday April 27th so you can continue to build on your ski day count. The Over Easy will be running through this weekend but will not run Monday 4/21 - Friday 4/25 and will reopen Saturday 4/26 - Sunday 4/27. The Forerunner Quad will be the only lift running next week.
The Alpine Clubhouse will be open until the end of the season with limited operations. We ask that you self-park your vehicle in any of the spots that are not blocked off when you arrive. There will be no food & beverage service Monday 4/21 - Friday 4/25 at the and more details will come on our closing weekend plans.
Concierge and ski valet services will remain available throughout the end of the season. Please reach out if you have any concerns and we hope to see you out on the mountain enjoying this nice bonus.
A Message from Ski Valet
The Ski Valet Team is able to assist with any end-of-season lease returns you may still have from our local ski shops. Please reach out to Sean Toof to make arrangements or you can always call the Club Concierge. When doing this please be as detailed as possible and let us know if we are looking for skis or snowboards and if the lease included boots or poles. It has been a pleasure helping you and your families enjoy your time on the mountain. We hope to see you up here this summer enjoying some of your warm weather passions, but if we don’t, have a great summer and we will see you next winter.
Thank You,
The Ski Valet Team
