   COMMUNITY GARDEN VOLUNTEERS
Looking for volunteer opportunities this summer? Through a collaboration between the UNT Food Pantry, We Mean Green Fund, City of Denton Parks and Recreation and Sustainable Denton, two plots at Bowling Green Community Garden are now dedicated to growing fresh produce for the campus food pantry. Student volunteers are needed over the summer, either as individuals or as groups – and all gardening experience levels are welcome. If you are interested in helping with tasks such as watering the plots, pulling weeds, harvesting and more throughout the summer, register either as a group or as an individual by emailing WeMeanGreenFund@unt.edu or Daniel.Friedman@cityofdenton.com.
Also, be aware that the We Mean Green Fund office has relocated from the University Union to the Diamond Eagle Student Resources Center in Crumley Hall.
