Winner of the Tartan Design Competition
UTA sought the artistic help of students in creating a tartan design that captures the spirit of its 130th anniversary celebration. A panel of judges selected by the Department of Art and Art History chose Rachel Chen as the winner of the Student Tartan Design Competition. Her design will be used on University merchandise that will be sold in the UTA Bookstore later this year.

| Measles titers and vaccines available at UTA Health Services
While the threat of measles is low due to most school-aged children and adults being vaccinated, it is important to know your vaccination status. If you were born in 1957 or later and don’t have access to your vaccination records, you can schedule an appointment with UTA Health Services to perform a simple blood test (called a titer) that determines whether or not you are protected against the disease. Call UTA Health Services at 817-272-2771 to set up an appointment for testing or to get vaccinated.
