Please be advised that Stevens will no longer provide students with recordings of classes that they miss due to short-term illness, including COVID-19 and the flu.
Please note: Students are not required to provide documentation for illnesses, and faculty members should not request it. If a student misses a class or classes, the student is expected to discuss the matter with the instructor, and it is up to the discretion of the instructor whether to allow a student to make up any missed assignments, exams or projects. Absences, for whatever reason, do not relieve students of their responsibility for fulfilling the requirements of any course.
Students with long- or short-term documented disabilities, including chronic illnesses, must meet with the Office of Disability Services to seek accommodation. The director of Disability Services will communicate directly with faculty members regarding any needed accommodations.
Undergraduate students and faculty members can review the policies and procedures listed on the Office of Undergraduate Academics Policies and Procedures page, including those related to absence from class.
