Younger At Heart: “The opportunity to be a part of the launch of The Core Records was simply something I couldn’t turn down," says newly named VP/Artist Development Jamie Younger. Younger joins the co-venture with Universal Music Group (CAT 7/10/23) from Warner Music Nashville, where she spent 12 years after time at Thirty Tigers and American Songwriter. New to Benztown are Coord. & Producer/Long Form Programming Megan Vazquez and Coord./Accounting & Office Hannah Schoettmer. Vazquez held several positions at Oregon State University radio station KBVR/Corvallis, including Station Mgr., and hosted a weekly cosmetology podcast. Schoettmer previously worked with NPR member station KUOW/Seattle.

Fellow 2024 honorees are the late Jimmy Buffett (to be inducted by Mac McAnally) and gospel quartet The Fairfield Four. Inductees are recognized for preserving the musical heritage of Nashville. Reed and Cody are being honored to mark the Opry's 100th anniversary. |
