Younger At Heart: “The opportunity to be a part of the launch of The Core Records was simply something I couldn’t turn down," says newly named VP/Artist Development Jamie Younger. Younger joins the co-venture with Universal Music Group (CAT 7/10/23) from Warner Music Nashville, where she spent 12 years after time at Thirty Tigers and American Songwriter. The WMN Artist Development team has been rebranded into the comprehensive Marketing department (CAT 7/17).

Company Town: Benztown Exec. Asst. Estefania Padilla has been promoted to Rep./Affiliate Relations & Music Licensing. She has been with the company since 2022. New to Benztown are Coord. & Producer/Long Form Programming Megan Vazquez and Coord./Accounting & Office Hannah Schoettmer. Vazquez held several positions at Oregon State University radio station KBVR/Corvallis, including Station Mgr., and hosted a weekly cosmetology podcast. Schoettmer previously worked with NPR member station KUOW/Seattle.

Bits & Pieces: The Big 615’s Storme Warren was honored with The Charlie Daniels Patriot Award for his work with veteran causes at The Charlie Daniels Journey Home Project’s annual awards dinner Wednesday (9/11). "The one thing we all need now more than ever is hope," said Garth Brooks. "Storme is constantly that guy ... who is there for you when you need someone the most. It makes perfect sense to honor Storme for all he does for our military – past, present and future."
