We've successfully wrapped up February and a big holiday week thanks to your hard work - thank you! You have all done an amazing job throughout the season and over the Presidents' Week holiday. 
We still have weeks of great skiing and riding ahead of us through March and April at Okemo! Read on below to see what's coming up for Ski & Ride! 

Be Safe Together: Face Covering Updates


Effective Monday, Feb. 28, 2022, employee face coverings are not required in indoor, employee-only spaces, unless required by federal, provincial, state, or local laws and regulations.
Employee face coverings are required in indoor spaces frequented by our guests or the general public. 
With these changes, please know that continuing to wear a mask is always an option for you at work. If you have questions, please read the FAQs below or reach out to your supervisor.

April SRS Product Changes


Starting Monday, April 4, we will transition to private lessons only at both Jackson Gore and Clock Tower. Please take note and ensure your guests understand this product change.

PSIA-E NextCore: Mentorship Program Underway 


As our professional organization looks towards the future, PSIA-E created NextCore – an action and advisory group of instructors ages 16-39. This group’s mission is to engage and inspire younger membership. One initiative took flight this season with the launch of a mentorship program that pairs mentees with a member of the Eastern Division Educational Staff. The aim is simple: help guide these members to meet their goals, both personal and professional. Want to learn more? Check out the group’s Facebook page and connect with other instructors. Uniform Return Process


If you ARE returning next season:

  • If you are 100% positive that you are returning next season, please keep your uniform.
  • If you are returning but can’t store your gear over the summer, put your washed uniform in a bag with your name and put a note saying “returning”.
  • Please keep your nametags and your caps/beanies.
If you are NOT returning next season:
  • Washed uniforms must be returned within 3 days of your last day
  • All uniforms must be returned to the uniform department at the Cole House on the Jackson Gore side ONLY. You must return only your uniform.
  • The breezeway for access to the return window will be open 24/7 for returns starting March 19. Before this date, please check with your supervisor to ensure the office will be open for drop-offs.
  • Before washing your uniform, please get Nikwax waterproofing from the uniform department or ask your supervisor.
  • Please check all pockets to make sure all are empty. 
  • A failure to return ALL uniform items will result in FEE for each item. Employees will receive a bill.
  • A fee will be charged for items damaged beyond reasonable wear and tear.
  • Employees who owe payment will be considered not eligible for rehire until payment is received.
  • Ball caps and beanies are yours to keep.

On the Spot Award Now Includes "Be Inclusive" 

As a company, we have added "Be Inclusive" to our core values. The value is defined as, "Welcome everyone to our company, resorts and communities - include all races, gender identities, sexual orientations, abilities and other differences."
You can now nominate a fellow employee for embodying the Vail Resorts values and doing their job well.  “Be Inclusive” is now part of this award. We encourage you to fill out On-the-Spot recognitions whenever you see your colleagues embodying these values!
