UTA announces new psychology master's program

To meet the demand from businesses for more leaders focused on developing and sustaining healthy and productive organizations, UTA now offers a Master of Science degree in industrial and organizational psychology.
“This is different from business programs, which typically focus more on the strategy, financials, marketing and operations of an organization,” said Nicolette P. Hass, director of UTA's Industrial and Organizational Psychology Center.

Veterans small business starter

The University of Texas at Arlington’s College of Business has received a $1.7 million Small Business Administration grant to establish two Nevada Veterans Business Outreach Centers (VBOCs). Patrick E. Alcorn, senior director of UTA’s VBOC and a veteran, said this critical funding will provide resources and staffing to support the military entrepreneur community in Nevada.
