Health Promotion Services |
The Health Promotion Services Department (HPS) is committed to fostering a vibrant and safe learning community. HPS offers a full range of services dedicated to promoting the health and wellness of the USF student body.
|
-
Health Insurance - Students who are members of the USF-endorsed student health insurance through Aetna can phone or video chat with a doctor 24 hours a day using Teladoc, free of charge. Note that all USF students, regardless of health insurance provider, can use the student health clinics by scheduling an appointment online.
-
Urgent Care - HPS recommends visiting the GoHealth Urgent Care for non-life-threatening cases. Costs vary based on your health insurance plan benefits. It is important for students to understand how to determine between situations requiring urgent care or emergency services. The HPS Urgent Care web page lists examples of different types of injuries and illnesses in both cases. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please call (415) 422-2911 (on campus), 911 (off campus), or go to the nearest emergency room.
- Appointments - You can schedule a Zoom appointment with an HPS staff member for questions regarding insurance, immunization, nutrition, wellness, and other health-related questions. Schedule your appointment online »
-
Educational Offerings - HPS is offering a new lineup of health and wellness events for you to participate in. Learn more »
