You have to Roar to Soar!
Prepare for Next Semester |
Successful students plan ahead and take advantage of help from advisors to make next semester's course selections.

3 Ways to Roar This Week: |
-
Meet with your academic advisor
---------
If you haven't already met with your academic advisor this semester, make an appointment now. This is required before you can register for fall. Your advisor can help you find courses that keep you on track to graduation, come up with back-up ideas in case the class you want is full, and answer other questions.

- Build your shopping cart in SIS
---------
Your "shopping cart" opens on Monday, March 16. This means you can go into SIS and start loading the fall courses you want into your cart. Do this ahead of time and validate that you can enroll in those classes. Then, when your enrollment appointment begins, all you'll need to do is hit "submit."

- Check your Academic Advising Report (AAR)
---------
Are you on track with your major's requirements? In SIS, check your Academic Advising Report to find out. Your advisor can help you figure out the courses you need to stay on track to graduation.

Make sure your account doesn’t have ‘holds’ that could prevent you from registering for next semester. Find out in SIS under the ‘Tasks’ tile on the ‘Student Homepage’ and address any holds ASAP. Connect with your advisor if you have questions.”

Shopping Carts Open for Summer and Fall |
|
If you're considering withdrawing from a spring semester class, talk to your academic advisor first. Options like repeating a course to raise your grade or requesting to exclude a grade if you change your major may be a better fit with your situation.
