Brought to you from our colleagues at The University of Wisconsin, this helpful online guide walks you through the process of creating a Community of Practice, which they define as “groups of people who share a concern or a passion for something they do and seek to learn how to do it better through regular interaction.” Traditionally, they are a way for working professionals who are in the same domain to learn as a group, often from one another.

HIGH-SPEED HIPPOS CAN GET AIRBORNE, SAYS NEW STUDY

CNN News reports that hippos can get airborne when moving at high speeds over land, according to a new study.

This is the first time that the animals, which can weigh more than 2,000 kilograms (2.2 tons) and spend much of their time in water, have been found to lift all four limbs off the ground when moving quickly, according to a statement from the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) in the UK.
