Message from Glenn Boyce Chancellor Ole Miss

Dear staff,

Everywhere you look on campus, you see signs of growth and investment. In our facilities, our systems and, most importantly, in our people. In my letter from May, I was excited to share that, for the fourth consecutive year, the university allocated funds to salary and wage increases that took effect at the start of the new fiscal year.

Now, I’m excited to share that implementation of View2022 will begin this October. As a reminder, View2022 is our new classification and compensation structure for classified staff positions that aligns with the university’s strategic plan, Empower Now.

Beginning in October, Phase I will implement salary adjustments for an estimated 600 employees, ensuring they are placed within this new structure. Phase II, in 2025, will provide guidance for departments to make market competitive salary adjustments. Further details about the implementation phases will be shared by Human Resources soon.

View2022 is a significant step forward in our efforts to create a more consistent, transparent, and competitive environment for all employees. Thank you to the many individuals, including leaders and subject matter experts across campus, who worked diligently on this effort. I’m confident that View2022 will significantly strengthen our ability to attract and retain top talent while furthering our culture of excellence and collaboration for our people and for our future.

Sincerely,

Glenn F Boyce signature
