Questions about your Sonography and/or Radiation Therapy Application?

If you are applying to the CVS/DMS/RT programs by February 1, this virtual session is for you!  Faculty members will answer questions about the application process, clinical experiences, certification exams, and other related topics. This event will be recorded.

Express Advising is for quick,15-20 minute questions about Winter 2026 scheduling. If you have more in-depth questions or would like to discuss your academic plan with an advisor, please schedule a full-length appointment via Navigate or call our office at 616-331-5900.

We are excited to announce that the Master of Public Health program is expanding!

The MPH Hybrid program will launch in Traverse City, beginning Fall 2026. This new hybrid cohort will meet in person on GVSU's Traverse City campus for one Saturday per semester. Learn more about how you can learn where you live here.

GVSU now offers a minor in Disability Studies! The program offers students an interdisciplinary perspective on disability within society and challenges traditional medical and pathologizing views of disability.

As you embark on your wintery graduation, we want to note here how proud we are of you. Completing a degree is a balancing act. Juggling your classes, jobs, pets, families, friends, and personal well-being is no easy feat. As a CHP student, we know you are caring. You want to help people. You have worked through difficult courses, clinical experiences, internships, personal challenges, and more to hone your skills to serve your community. Take a moment to reflect on that, my friend, WOW!

As you walk across that stage, know that our faculty and staff are cheering you on as you enter in to your next chapter. We cannot wait to see all you will achieve Lakers 💙

December marks both World AIDS Day on December 1st and intersectional awareness days throughout the month. As future health professionals, destigmatization and understanding are critical to providing compassionate, culturally responsive care.
