Youth Leadership Forum

Do you know a high school student with a disabiltiy who is a leader or budding advocate?  If so, refer them to the Wisconsin Youth Leadership Forum (YLF)! The YLF is a week-long, overnight leadership training and career awareness program for high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors with disabilities to learn leadership and self-advocacy skills. 

Who/When/Where:

Who: High School Students with a disability who have an Individualized Education Program (IEP) up to age 21.

When: June 28–July 3, 2026

Where: Edgewood College in Madison, WI 

 

In Just One Week, Students Will:

  • Gain leadership and self-advocacy skills.
  • Learn about college and career options.
  • Develop a Personal Leadership Plan.
  • Increase their confidence.
  • Experience independent living in a safe space.
  • Make connections with their state legislators, mentors & new friends.
  • Create lasting memories and have fun!

 

To Apply:

Complete the application by March 13, 2026.
