Morgan PettyJohn, assistant professor of social work, published a study on the experiences of adult men with sexual violence in 2023. She says the hit Netflix series Baby Reindeer does a good job of showing the main character’s experiences with being stalked and being victimized by a male coworker. Members of the UTA community who request services from the UTA Police Department will now be among the first in Texas to utilize new software to provide feedback. With PowerEngage, text message surveys may be sent to those whose number is recorded as part of a call for service. Those who do not want to participate can simply not respond or reply with “STOP,” which will opt them out of all future text surveys.
These surveys should not be used to report any type of emergency or crime. As always, call 817-272-3003 or 817-272-3381 to contact the UTA Police Department.
