This year's spring break consisted of our seniors in Europe as well as a select of people at the beach, skiing in Colorado or on a cruise.

In last issue's People's Poll, we asked what you were planning for spring break. Here's what you said:

Tomorrow, we celebrate Good Friday. As a school, we will set aside our regular academic activities to dedicate this day toward spiritual formation. We remember this day as the moment when Jesus died on the cross for our sins, and Administration has planned a half day of activities for us to do and people for us to learn from. We will follow an 11:30 a.m. dismissal schedule on Friday. Make sure to be on campus by 8 a.m. even if you do not have a 1st period class. There will be an Attendance Table set up in the Atrium where all students need to check in. Don't forget that lunch is not served on 11:30 dismissal days.

Ameliorate 

Definition: Making something bad, better.

Example: STUCO believed that if we wore pajamas on a random day, it would ameliorate the chance of snow.
