Meet the Respiratory Care program coordinator; check out the new home of the navigators; and more

Bryant Pinder said he was unprepared when he first came to IUP, and he didn’t last. He came back a few years later, got the help he needed, and earned his degree. Today, he works as a navigator, providing the kind of support he could have used when he first came to college. Learn more about him in the video A Full-Circle Career.

From a young age, Jackie Heisler wanted to help people. Having a sister with asthma, she set her sights on helping people breathe easier. Now, as a member of the Allied and Public Health Department, she shares that passion for helping with students. Learn more about her in this week’s Meet Our Faculty feature.

The IUP navigators—the employees who provide hands-on support for every student—have a new home on the ground floor of Stapleton Library. Check it out during an open house Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Students, faculty, and staff are welcome. Refreshments will be available.
