This Sunday, June 7, we are receiving a special offering for Reconciling Ministries Network, as we celebrate the anniversary of becoming a Reconciling Congregation in 2017 - a meaningful step in our ongoing commitment to inclusion and justice.

Reconciling Ministries Network is committed to intersectional justice across and beyond the United Methodist connection, working for the full participation of all LGBTQ+ people throughout the life and leadership of the Church.

This coming Sunday June 7th, United Methodist Men (UMM) and United Methodist Women of Wellspring (UMWOW) are holding a joint potluck luncheon following the 11:00 am service. Jonathan Davis from The Caring Place will be our speaker. The men are providing the meat. This summer, Wellspring is once again partnering with First UMC Georgetown to support Project Transformation—a ministry that connects children, college-age young adults, and churches through meaningful relationships and a shared commitment to literacy.

Our Congregational Care Ministry is forming a new team to crochet prayer shawls and pocket prayer squares for our members who are going through times of grief or illness
and might need a little extra love. No matter your skill level or age, you can be a part of this new ministry! Did you know that some of our younger members are crocheting prayer squares during our second service in the pray-ground? If you don’t know how to crochet, we’ll be happy to give you lessons. This is something we can do together, or you can do in your home on your own time schedule. You can provide a reminder of
