Does political identity shape trust in AI? |
A recent study co-authored by Jeffrey Parker, associate professor of marketing at UIC, explored the influence of political ideology on the likelihood of accepting AI-generated recommendations in categories such as movie streaming, music streaming and recipe websites. The researchers found that conservatives are more likely than liberals to accept AI-generated recommendations. Parker can discuss the findings and, in general, the relationship between political ideology and acceptance of new technology.
