NEW! Yoga Certification Program

Become a Yoga Certified Instructor


Led by Dr. Eden Goldman  Chiropractor, USC Lecturer, Yoga Therapist 

 

New! USC Teacher Training Progam Launching on January 13- May 5, 2024.


HAVE YOU HEARD?
Dornsife is launching a one-of-a-kind wellness lifestyle program featuring an incredible guest faculty made up of 25+ top Yoga instructors and Yoga-oriented doctors and therapists, including 10 of our very own USC faculty members. This unique teacher trraining program uses Yoga as the catalyst to create transformational changes in people’s lives while also teaching participants how to become USC-certified Yoga instructors.
This certificate program is open to everyone! You don't have to be a current USC student, faculty, or staff. Tell your family and friends around the holidays and please share this information with anyone you think may benefit from such a program.
Classes meet at the USC campus for 11 weekends and online on Wednesday evenings.

Physical Education & Mind Body Health Department (PEMBH) offers four free lunch time (12 noon) classes - Yoga Hour on Mondays & Wednesdays (the Yoga Hour meets in SB3/sub-basement yoga room #3) and Power Hour on Tuesdays & Thursdays to ALL Dornsife faculty and staff. Take advantage of this great opportunity  

Faculty Affairs Caucus

Merit Review Performance Evaluation Guidelines and Rubric


The DFC Faculty Affairs Caucus in collaboration with the Dean's Office, the HR office, and Dornsife Department Chairs and Program Directors are in the process of collecting existing rubrics and guidelines used for the merit evaluation process. The goal is to create a set of suggested guidelines and a master rubric to serve as a template for faculty performance evaluation. If you have any questions or would like to contribute to this effort, please contact us at facultycouncil@dornsife.usc.edu. 
Informational Panel 
RTPC Promotions
The Dornsife Faculty Council on Ocotber 19th, facilitated an informational panel on RTPC promotions. The meeting was held in person and online with over 50 faculty in attendance.
