The men's locker room at Marshall Community Center re-opened Thursday, March 28, after an emergency maintenance closure earlier in the week.
All repairs have been completed to ensure the locker room is safe for public use and there is no increased risk of mold. Some sheetrock, hatch covers and ceiling joints had to be replaced due to the extent of the water damage. New LED lighting fixtures were also installed in several areas. The newly repaired areas will be painted when the pool is closed to avoid further disruption.
Thank you for your patience and flexibility during this closure. I also want to thank the City's Facilities team and our Marshall Center staff for their quick action, which allowed us to keep things running as smoothly as possible over the last two days.
Andy Meade,
Marshall Center Director
