Student Spotlight: Colton Isler
Colton is majoring in general business management and will graduate in 2026. He is a member of Phi Kappa Tau fraternity and serves as its executive board secretary and vice president of alumni relations. He is also a member of the Interfraternity Council and serves as vice president for diversity, equity, and inclusion. As the DEI chair, Colton has been involved in various programming on campus, including the recent Haven Project presentation, “Modern Manhood: Strength through Connection.” He plans to continue participating in Haven Project events and campus DEI initiatives. We thank you, Colton!
Staff Spotlight: Jessica Miller
Jessica is the director of the Counseling Center and is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in trauma, grief, and advocacy. She is deeply committed to fostering a supportive campus environment in which students can access high-quality mental healthcare and prevention education. In addition to overseeing the Counseling Center, Jessica is the director of the Haven Project, the office dedicated to prevention education and advocacy surrounding sexual assault, interpersonal violence, and stalking. In this role, she leads initiatives that provide support services, campus programming, and outreach efforts to educate students, faculty, and staff about the importance of violence prevention and survivor support. Her work includes overseeing key programs, such as Green Dot bystander intervention training, Take Back the Night, and Togetherall. Jessica is an IUP alumna, having earned both her master of arts degree in psychology and her doctor of psychology degree in clinical psychology here. Her professional interests center on trauma-informed care, resilience-building, and developing comprehensive strategies to support survivors of violence. She is passionate about advocacy and works collaboratively with campus and community partners to create a culture of safety, empowerment, and education. We thank you, Jessica!
