Join us this Holy Week at Wellspring!
Palm Sunday
Sunday, April 13
Regular traditional and contemporary worship services marking Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem and utilizing palm branches in worship. "Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!"
Maundy Thursday
Thursday, April 17
**NEW TIME** 6:00 p.m. for In Person
Join us in person for our Interactive Maundy Thursday Service for All Ages. We will engage in experiential worship around tables as we remember the last night Jesus shared with his disciples before he died.
For those who only worship online, we will have an interactive Zoom service at 7:00 p.m. The special Holy Week E-News will have the link as well as a list of supplies to collect (no special trip to HEB needed).
Good Friday
Friday, April 18
7:00 p.m.
Our Tenebrae Service of Darkness is a longstanding tradition at Wellspring, in which we read the scriptures telling how Jesus was crucified. As we do so, we extinguish candles to signify the deep darkness of the Lord's suffering. We will have worship online and in person.
Sunday, April 20 - Easter Sunday
Easter is a day when many people who don't worship regularly consider attending church. So it’s a great opportunity to tell someone you know about Wellspring by inviting a neighbor to church, sharing the LiveStream on social media, or telling a nearby family about our growing children and youth programs. We’ll be finishing our series about practices for action toward Mercy and Justice. Come and celebrate the Risen Lord!

We sincerely thank all who have contributed to the Wellspring building refresh. We have received substantial donations and hope for continued support.
Extensive mold remediation, initially estimated at $50,000 but exceeding $90,000, is ongoing.
Our governing board has requested a $35,000 special appeal from the congregation. These funds will help offset the costs of much-needed renovations to our building.. Please consider making a gift towards these renovations in addition to your regular contributions. These gifts will ensure our financial stability.
To make an online donation, visit the link and select “One Time Gift” with “Building” in the Note Section. If submitting a check, write “Building” in the memo line.
Your faithfulness is greatly appreciated.

Transgender Day of Visibility Event at Wellspring
On Monday, March 31, Wellspring had the honor of hosting an event for International Transgender Day of Visibility (TDOV). Celebrated annually, TDOV raises awareness about the experiences and contributions of transgender people, while also highlighting the discrimination and violence they face compared to cisgender individuals.
The Georgetown event was organized by PFLAG. Although we had planned to support it at another venue, we were asked—just a week before—to step in as hosts. We said yes, and the Mercy & Justice Team quickly mobilized to coordinate Wellspring's participation!
At PFLAG’s request, we kept the event low-profile to ensure a safe and welcoming environment and to help prevent protests. We quietly reached out to small groups to help with setup, food, hospitality, and cleanup.
The Wellspring community showed up. With open arms and big hearts, we welcomed over 80 guests. We shared food, connection, and compassion—living out our mission to be a church for all people.
At Wellspring, all are welcome, all are accepted, all are loved, and all means ALL!
