New Recognition Program: Coffee with the President |
OHIO is launching a new initiative to celebrate the ways staff help OHIO thrive. Each semester, President Gonzalez will host a small, conversational coffee gathering to connect directly with staff, hear their insights, and recognize those who champion OHIO's shared values.
Developed in partnership with Administrative Senate leadership, this program supports the WORK pillar of the Dynamic Strategy by creating dedicated space to highlight staff impact. Nominations for these gatherings are coordinated each semester through Vice Presidents and Deans across all units.

Join a Collaborative Space to Practice Presentation Styles and Share Ideas
|

|
|
Bobcat Podium offers monthly sessions—both in‑person and remote—where OHIO faculty and staff can practice communication skills, explore different speaking styles, and connect with colleagues across campus in a welcoming space.
|

|
These workshops cover the specifics of leadership, providing tools to:

⏳ Pause and evaluate situations as they arise

The Center for OHIO Employee Excellence can partner with your planning unit to design custom-made workshops tailored to the goals your team is working toward.
The Center can also join your group or team meeting to introduce the Center, highlight available resources, and showcase workshops that strengthen employee growth, enhance team effectiveness, and support organizational success.

The first Bobcat Beyond Progress Point is coming up on March 31. Badges will be awarded in early April to participants who have met a badge criterion. Complete the Bobcat Beyond form and update your progress today!

🏢 UHR Will Temporarily Relocate to Grover Hall
University Human Resources will be located in Grover Hall, Room W111, from May 11 through June 1. Beginning June 2, HR will be back in Grosvenor West 103. If you are visiting on or after June 2, please use the main entrance to Grosvenor West, as Grosvenor Hall will remain unavailable until mid-August.
