Football through QB eyes

Written by Hannah Custer

Sophomore Connor Taylor is excited this year to be stepping into the position of quarterback for Varsity football. He says that one of his goals this year is to grow a lot as a player and as a team. Another one of his biggest goals is to make it to the playoffs. When he was given the role of quarterback, he said that it was something he didn’t expect but he was really excited.

“I was ready to work and ready to get after it,” he said.

Connor prepares by going to the weigh troom everyday and practicing out in the heat. He watches film and makes sure he knows everything, and he prioritizes getting a good night's sleep every night.

This season Connor said he loves the brotherhood of the team, and it's fun on and off the field. “Everyone is just being boys and having fun."
