Quality Science and Math Grant
|
Applications are now being accepted for the Quality Science and Math (QSM) Grant Program. QSM awards up to $2,000 to Louisiana PK-12 public school teachers for non-consumable materials and equipment for standards-based and high-quality mathematics, science, and STEM instruction.
|
Educators working with children in Pre-K through 3rd grade are invited to register for the Making and Tinkering with STEM workshop presented by the Knock Knock Museum. This one-day workshop on July 22 at the Greenwell Springs Library will engage participants in playful, inquiry-based design challenges that foster learning across developmental domains while encouraging children to think like innovators and problem solvers.

Interested in starting a career in healthcare? The Baton Rouge Health District is recruiting participants for the BRHireD Certified Medical Assistant Training Program. Eligible participants may receive training and certification support, financial assistance, hands-on clinical experience, and employment opportunities with healthcare partners.

Applications for the M.J. Foster Promise Program are now open. The M.J. Foster Promise Program allows adult learners (21+) to qualify for financial support to earn credentials that align with high-demand jobs in growing industry sectors such as Construction, Healthcare, Information Technology, Manufacturing, and Transportation and Logistics.

The program helps connect future healthcare leaders with current medical, nursing, PA, dental, and other students through their mentorship and guidance programs. LFHL empowers students to achieve their dreams and become tomorrow's healthcare leaders.
