We are so excited about all the progress going on here at Hanging Rock. From the dining hall project to the handicap accessible bathrooms being finished in the retreat center and handicap accessible bathrooms taking shape in the bunkhouse.  They are estimating another six weeks to get those finished. 

On top of that the board continues to meet about the vision of Hanging Rock and what projects we can complete with the Lilly Foundation Grant. In the October email newsletter, we will be sharing the details of the grant process and how it will benefit Hanging Rock for years to come.  Please keep this matter in your prayers. 

We are still working out the details for the one cabin that was to be built with the grant from Wheeler Foundation.  We are in the process of securing a contractor for this project, but we have the electric installed and ready to go. 

Like I said so many great things happening and so many blessings from you, our supporters, and from the Lord. 

We still have $32,000 in debt for the dining hall. We are really working hard to eliminate this debt by the end of the year. Before family camp our debt was $42,000 but because of the generosity of our family campers and the match of $5,000 in Memory of William & Donna Huffer. We are able to put another $10,000 on our loan leaving just $32,000. Praise the Lord!! 

We really appreciate the support that we have received from individuals and our supporting churches with this debt. 

Family Camp 2025 is in the books! We had such an awesome weekend full of fun & fellowship. Casey Scott led us into a deep discussion on the Symbols of Unity. We also had phenomenal worship led by Dave Sims, Jeff Keller, Sterling Christian Church and Brady Lane Church. Hanging Rock is already looking ahead to next year and we hope that you are too!!
