On January 15, Margaret Haines-Riiska was baptized during the 11:15 a.m. Contemporary worship service.
Joining in on this special day were family including parents, Cassandra and Samantha Haines-Riiska, and special aunt and uncle Julie and Jim Ohrberg.
We were all delighted to be a part of this special day with Julie singing a special song and Jim providing lighting and tech help.
Welcome to the family, Margaret!
Our very own Pastor Jeremy Green and Tiffany Lyn Meadows were married on January 20, 2023 in a private ceremony.
They spent the day visiting some beloved landmarks of theirs in downtown Orlando, and delivering pieces of wedding cake to the rest of the clergy team.
Congratulations!
On December 30, 2022, Joseph and Harris D’Ambrosi were married surrounded by family and friends.
Pastor Jenn Stiles Williams and Pastor Melissa Cooper participated in the wedding ceremony.
St. Luker Maureen Straughn passed away peacefully on December 28, 2022.
Maureen has been a partner with St. Luke's since 2004 and a member of the Sanctuary Choir and a Missions volunteer with Jobs Partnership.
A memorial service for Maureen was held in early January. Please keep Maureen’s husband, Wayne, and all who loved her in your prayers.
St. Luker Rollie Rae Allen passed away on January 7.
Rollie was instrumental in the founding of Shepherd's Hope and supported the ministries of our church unselfishly.
A service for Rollie was held in the Sanctuary on January 21.
Please keep Rick, CT, and her whole family in your prayers.
It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Yvette Desrosiers-Alphonse.
Yvette walked alongside our Missions Ministry teams as leader of the Mission Council, and also served as our co-Lay Leader for the last three years.
The impact of her love and passion reverberates through St. Luke's, as well as our community. She will be greatly missed.
There was a Celebration of Life service on Saturday, February 4 in the Sanctuary. To view her obituary click here
Please keep her family and friends in your prayers.
Our CDC Students are 100 Days Smarter!
The St. Luke's Child Development Center celebrated 100 days of school.
Students made posters for a 100-day poster museum, painted 100-day pictures, and had special snacks.
The CDC is registering for the 2023-2024 school year and has limited space in the toddler classes, preschool classes, and Transitional Kindergarten (click here to view more information).
Come have fun learning and growing together!
