Filipino American History Month Film Series: Delano Manongs
The finale of the FAHM film series, “Delano Manongs: Forgotten Heroes of the United Farmworkers Movement” is this Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 3 p.m. in the Hinde Auditorium. The film tells the story of farm labor organizer Larry Itliong and a group of Filipino farm workers who instigated one of the American farm labor movement's finest hours -- The Delano Grape Strike of 1965. Panel discussion to follow with distinguished guests from the Filipino American National Historical Society (FANHS).
