Coppin State and the Maryland Office of Social Equity Unite to Spearhead Cannabis Entrepreneurship Education

Coppin has partnered with the Maryland Office of Social Equity to lead the future of cannabis entrepreneurship education through our Center for Strategic Entrepreneurship housed in the College of Business.

This powerful collaboration is helping ensure that Maryland’s cannabis sector reflects the brilliance, innovation, and entrepreneurial potential within our communities.

As an HBCU, Coppin State University is proud to play a central role in shaping equitable access to opportunity in emerging industries.

Coppin State University Scholar Helps Greater Mondawmin Exceed Fundraising Goals at Annual Gala

Monae Hicks at GMCC Gala

Monae Hicks, a Coppin State University Nonprofit Leadership scholar, served as the Fundraising Chair for the Greater Mondawmin Coordinating Council (GMCC) Gala as part of her internship experience course.

According to many of the attendees, the gala was a huge success, in large part because Monae's leadership and her masterful execution of this major event.

This is but another example of Coppin State Eagles continuing to do extraordinary work in the classroom and in the community that makes a difference.

The Coppin State Alumni & Friends Cruise is a reminder that, no matter where life takes us, Coppin will forever be home. Alumni and friends sailed with Eagle pride, reconnecting through laughter, celebration, and cherished memories.
