Geriatric Technical Assistance Center (GTAC)
NYAM was appointed as a GTAC for the NYS Office of Mental Health, providing technical assistance to six geriatric service demonstration programs to help vulnerable adults 55+ age in place. NYAM will provide strategic and operational support to help programs address the unmet aging and behavioral health needs of this population.

This past month we celebrated our 2023 edition of Color Our Collections from February 6th to the 10th. Every February, #ColorOurCollections brings together collections from other libraries, archives, and museums through coloring books. We have participants from all over the world! This year's coloring books as well as previous years are easily accessible on our website year-round.

| We celebrated Black History Month by going through some of the most important figures in Black American health, including NYAM fellow Dr. Gerald A. Spencer.
