This semester, Myaamia students are not only learning about arts and aesthetics in the Myaamia Heritage Course, but they also have the opportunity to create art themselves. Karen Baldwin, from the Miami Tribe Cultural Resources Office, led a ribbonwork workshop with our students, and Katrina Mitten, a Myaamia beadwork artist, taught students how to bead the edge of hats.
