OSP Update: “WM Award Budget to Actuals” Workday Reports |
The Office of Sponsored Programs and Information Technology have collaborated to implement enhancements to the “WM Award Budget to Actuals” Workday reports. These updates are scheduled for the afternoon of Friday, April 24th.
What to know:
|
-
These updates will impact previously saved prompts or filters and will need to be recreated.
- If you have also marked these reports as Favorites, those Favorites will be impacted. You will need to open the report again from the Workday search bar and re‑favorite it.
-
As part of these updates, V2 versions of these reports were created: WM Award Budget to Actuals V2 and WM Award Budget to Actuals (OSP) V2. The V2 reports will replace the original reports, and the “V2” label will be removed from these report names.
- WM Award Budget to Actuals by Company (OSP) will no longer be available, as users will be able to run the WM Award Budget to Actuals report.

We appreciate your understanding as we continue enhancing university reports.

Update to Accounting Adjustment Approval Process |
|
|
We are excited to announce changes the team has made to the business process for accounting adjustments. These updates went live on Wednesday and now require approval from the designated manager, gift manager, grant manager, and principal investigator for all accounting adjustments.
Previously, these adjustments were submitted directly to the accounting operations lead in financial reporting. This new process provides greater visibility into what is being charged to your accounts, rather than limiting that insight to central finance.
This is one improvement in the overall process, and the team looks forward to introducing additional enhancements in the future. Thank you for your patience!
