"George was a storyteller, and never were his stories not entertaining. George would entertain both the cast & crew between scenes and setups on The Goldbergs with his tales of Hollywood during its creative height of the 60’s and 70’s, working with some of the most well-known and accomplished names in the history of cinema including Elizabeth Taylor, Mike Nichols, Orson Welles, Barbra Streisand, Robert Redford, Goldie Hawn, and Robert Altman, to name just a few.
We were lucky enough to work on set with George for years where he would constantly share the most amazing Hollywood stories between scenes and set ups. It dawned on us one day that we needed to capture all of this on film."
