Our "Engineer Like a Vik" collaboration with PSU Athletics and the School of Business at Viking Pavilion went well, resulting in an evening of community building and basketball viewing. President Ann Cudd and Provost Shelly Chabon joined the deans, faculty, staff, students, and alumni from the two schools to cheer on the ultimately victorious PSU Vikings. Although Dean Joseph Bull fell to Dean Qing Hu in a heated game of rock paper scissors after a tic tac toe stalemate, camaraderie prevailed.

teuscher.:Lab has a new Artist-in-the-Lab (AiL) program which aims at fostering the collaboration between art, science, and technology. Artists will be embedded in the lab to engage and interact with scientists and students to gain a deeper understanding of cutting-edge science and technology and create original artwork that engages an audience in creative, new, and unconventional ways to see and experience science and technology. The AiL program hopes to challenge expectations, to change perspectives, to engage the audience in critical thinking, and to broaden the understanding in science and technology. Learn more and find the application here.
