VA Access

Due to changes at the VA, if you expect to rotate at the VA at any point during the Immersion Phase, be sure to maintain your access by logging in at the VA every 30 days. If you lose access, please Emily Blake at emily.w.blake@vanderbilt.edu ASAP to reinstate your access before your rotation; otherwise, you may be dropped from your course.

Phase Director Welcome

Welcome to the Immersion Phase! This is an exciting and pivotal time in your medical school journey as you begin to explore areas of interest more deeply and personalize your curriculum. You will have the opportunity to apply what you’ve learned as you refine your clinical skills and enhance your knowledge. This phase is designed to challenge you, help you grow, and prepare you for residency responsibilities. We are thrilled to support you throughout this Phase. We encourage you to embrace every opportunity to learn, remain curious and ask questions, and develop into leaders. Your dedication and passion for medicine have brought you this far, and we are confident that you will continue to excel.

Kim Dahlman, PhD

Once again, welcome to the Immersion Phase. We look forward to seeing your growth and achievements in the years ahead. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns.
