AI major generates regional buzz

Last week, UW-Whitewater announced the fall 2026 launch of its Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence program, and it was featured on several local media platforms. Zach Oster, department chair and associate professor of computer science, and three students were interviewed in TMJ4’s story.
