Welcome!  We're here to help you!

Greetings from Bertrand Library! Can you believe that this is the last full week of classes? It's crunch time, which means that you're working on projects, papers, and other assignments that require you to do research. Bertrand Library librarians and staff can help you find research materials or data and cite your sources.

If you need help with any of the above, or have any questions about Bertrand Library, please do not hesitate to make an appointment for a research consultation with Research Services staff by clicking the button below.
Best of luck on finals, and we hope you have an enjoyable and restful Winter Break!

Meet Sam Keller!

Have you ever wondered how library materials get cataloged, barcoded, and added to the Worldcat Library Catalog before they hit the shelves? Meet Sam Keller, who is one of Bertrand Library's catalogers!  We'll let Sam introduce himself:

"Hello! My name is Sam Keller, Library Collections and Services Assistant for the Bertrand Library. I’ve been working here for almost a full year now (started January 2024). My work primarily involves cataloging new items for the library’s collection, as well as fixing metadata errors for items we already own.

I grew up right here in central Pennsylvania, and earned my BS in Biology from Susquehanna University. I made a career transition into Library Services after graduation, and have since worked in roles that involve many aspects of library work, including fundraising/development, volunteer management, and technical services, which is what I primarily do now!

In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my partner, watching basketball and Formula One, playing Dungeons and Dragons with friends, watching and recording films on Letterboxd, and chasing waterfalls."
Relaxation Zone

Fuel up and take a break

Stop by the Bertrand Library on the morning of Reading Day (December 11) and have a fuel-up snack, courtesy of your friends in Library & IT!

If you're studying in the library, and need a break, stop by the Relaxation Zone, near the security gate on the main level and put together a puzzle, color, do some origami, or read a recent popular novel from the Current Reading Collection.
