Tenet Healthcare Update: Saint Vincent Hospital & MetroWest Medical Center 

Point32Health, the parent organization of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Tufts Health Plan, continues to work toward an agreement with Tenet Healthcare. Although our negotiations are progressing, we have yet to reach an agreement that keeps care convenient and affordable for our health plan members. As such, our members* will receive the attached communication via postal mail during the week of November 11, 2024.

The member letter includes important information on their current access to those facilities, as well as insight on our established safeguards to minimize disruptions in care. We will continue to keep you and our health plan members updated.

Terminating providers from any of our networks is never made lightly, as we know changes like this can be difficult for you and our health plan members. Our goals remain unchanged in managing the cost of care, and ensuring our members have access to high-quality, affordable care. 

Your account management team will also have access to the member communications and account-level impact details. We appreciate your partnership and the opportunity to serve you.

*Defined as members who used either Saint Vincent Hospital or MetroWest Medical Center for routine care or services, excluding emergency room visits, in the last 12 months (Sept 2023 – Sept 2024).
