Damon Centola Named 2026 Guggenheim Fellow

Damon Centola is among 223 people working across 55 disciplines chosen for the 101st class of Guggenheim Fellows. Centola is one of just three awardees to receive the Fellowship in the category of sociology. The award is designed to support a project lasting six to 12 months and to allow fellows to pursue independent work at the highest level under the “freest possible conditions,” according to the foundation.

2026 Lindback Awards for Distinguished Teaching

Congratulations to Gad Allon and Chris Callison-Burch, both recipients of the 2026 Christian R. and Mary F. Lindback Foundation Award for Distinguished Teaching. The Lindback Awards, announced annually by the Office of the Provost, are the most prestigious teaching awards that full-time faculty members at the University can receive.
