The Olin Africa Business Forum 2025- "Redefining Africa's Business Narrative: Thriving Beyond Borders with Sustainable Businesses" is next week! Please join OABC for two full days, March 27-28th, as they welcome a panel of Africa's most influential leaders with mulitple presentations on Thursday, March 27th followed by on Friday, March 28th the annual Taste of Africa and Fashion Show. Learn more abuot the schedule and the amazing lineup of speakers on the OABC forum site.

Taxes Made OISE, March 20th, 12pm - 1pm, Simon Hall, Room 1. Students will have the opportunity to complete their taxes using the non-resident tax filing software system, Sprintax. OISE staff will be available to answer general questions and encourage students to complete their taxes using Sprintax.

Join the WashU Graduate Student Indian organization, Umang for Holi on Saturday, March 22nd in Bowles Plaza! Holi, a vibrant Indian festival of colors, is celebrated and admired globally for its lively and joyful atmosphere.
Tickets are $5 per student, and colors from outside are not allowed. This is a WashU student/affiliates-only event. Contact Umang on Instagram for more details. -
Business of Health Symposium is Thursday, April 3, 2025. Join WashU Olin Business School for its inaugural Business of Health Symposium. The growth of the health sector represents one of the biggest opportunities in business today. Register online to attend.

On Friday, April 4th, the GPO will sponsor a follow-up to the fall PowerPoint Workshops with an Advanced PowerPoint seminar. In this three-hour seminar, led by a 20-year Microsoft training instructor, students will learn unique ways to use Hyperlinks and Action Buttons, Photo Album feature, SmartArt, and much more. OWIB Annual Spring Gala is Friday, April 11th. Join the Olin Women in Business (OWIB) for an elegant evening of celebration, networking, and impact as we connect with fellow students & alumni and raise funds for women’s scholarships through our silent and in-person auction. Mindfulness is simple, but not easy! Jodi Seals will facilitate a four-part Mindfulness Workshop, Wednesdays through April 9th. Students can register to attend one or all four of the lunchtime sessions. The March 19th session is closed, but there is still time to register for three other consecutive Wednesdays through April 9th.

ThurtenE is Friday, April 4th- Sunday April 6th. What is ThurtenE? It is a long standing WashU tradition, andn a three day carnival with rides, food, and entertainment. WashU alum support this schoalrship fundraising event, and celebrate their community. Learn more and purchase ride tickets online.

Yes, Jake has led an extraordinarily rich life full of unique expriences with life long learning enhanced by his surroundings and mentors, and occasionally a horse or German Shepherd. Jake is the founder of Carbon Salary, a climate-focused SaaS startup as well as launching a sports psychology startup with classmate Sergiu Celebidachi. This challenge has led her not only to the Olin FLEX program but also to pursue her current career path with RGA in HR Strategy and Analytics. The Olin Impact Case Competition brought together student teams from across the country on Friday, February 14th. WashU Olin's graduate teams took first and second place. IRRational minds, pictured above and first place, included Sam Stewart, Ryan Bowman, Felipe Zwanzger, and Felipe Quaassdorff. View the full list of winners and learn more about Olin Impact!
- Students braved the cold and a bit of snow to spend a cold February afternoon bowling at Tropicana Lanes, and chilling with classsmates. This GPO sponsored event included students from all of the Olin graduate programs. Check out the smiles, and the strikes!

The GPO staff and the SMP Council co-sponsored One World on Friday, February 21st. Students enjoyed an evening full of rich culture, food, and authentic music and treats celebrating the diversity and multi-cultures of the Olin graduate program students. Check it out!

Join the CDI along with the Performing Arts Department on March 24th for a lecture featuring Taylor Mac at 4pm in the Clark Fox Forum in Hillman Hall. RSVP required! On March 23rd, 4-6 pm, a film screening (free) in Brown Hall 100 of Taylor's film 24-Decade History of Popular Music is also open to students.
- Student Health Services Presents: A Breath of Fresh Air! Resources for Quitting Smoking in Goldfarb Lounge on March 31st from 12:00 - 1:30 pm. Registration is not required.
