SPOTLIGHT OF THE WEEK
MLK COMMEMORATION: "We become silent about things that matter" was the theme for this year's Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration Program, sponsored by the UAH Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. Mayor Battle participated in the event, which included guest speaker Ben O'Keefe, Chief Executive Officer of Chaotic Good, a social impact company. Proceeds from the event supported efforts to fund the Dave McGlathery Trailblazer Scholarship Fund, designed to empower first-generation UAH students to build a more just society and establish their own trailblazing legacy.

Mayor Battle is grateful to build connections with other cities around the state.
